The Belgian Ardennes is a geographical region located south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow and which is limited to the south by Lorraine and Champagne. This region includes Fagne, Famenne, Hautes Fagnes, Eifel, Oesling, Calestienne and part of Condroz.
The Ardennes is the region with the highest relief in Wallonia and there are all kinds of different and varied landscapes: immense forests, meadows as far as the eye can see, wet fens and expanses of peat bogs.
One of the main riches of the Ardennes lies in its culture: a territory of memory, tradition and folklore, you can find historical monuments from the Second World War, castles rich in history or fascinating educational museums.
Alongside this cultural side, the Ardennes is also renowned for its fantastic walks in the very heart of nature.
